Sound  into  space

One display.
One patron.
Once a year.

Descend

I  ·  Manifesto

Lead with sound.
Let the sky answer.

The first display was designed to subvert the obvious. The expectant track, the predictable big bang. In its place: an audacious, transcendent soundscape, with the firework & light display arranged in answer.

Heavy rockets meet soaring electro. Silences and spaces are imbued with majesty and meaning to match. A composition across ground and sky. A whole far greater than the sum of its component parts.

The magic of the music seems to light the way.
John Lennon

II  ·  The Artists

A collaboration between two practitioners.

Soundscape Artist

Ebe Sievwright

Composes the score that the sky responds to. Sound is led. Never accompaniment, never an afterthought. The track is the architecture.

Firework & Light Constructor

Chris Clarke

Builds the answer in fire and light. High-arching heavy rockets, low-burning ember beds, choreographed silences. Every cue is intentional.

III  ·  Patronage

Sold as a piece of art.
Performed as a singular event.

One display per year.

01

A single Vundervurks display is created and performed annually. There is no second performance, no touring edition, no reproduction.

One patron.

02

The patron owns that year’s show in its entirety. The score, the choreography, the night.

Composed in full.

03

A bespoke commission, designed from soundscape outwards. Site, season, story. Every parameter shapes the piece.

Performed once.

04

The display is staged for the patron’s chosen evening, then archived. The work exists, after, only in memory.

IV  ·  Enquire

The 2026 commission
is open to one patron.

Enquiries are handled in confidence by the Co-Founders. Initial conversations cover site, season, scale and the intended occasion; no two displays are alike.
